When we went online to order a replacement wheel, we learned that we should have "soft" wheels for our porcelain tile floors, not the "hard" wheels that came on the chair. The soft wheels are so much better on the hard surface! We of course installed all five, even though only one of the others had broken, and promptly ordered another set of five soft wheels for a second chair.

Love the casters. Easy to replace. They are quieter and the chair is easier to move than my old ones.

Glad they came with both size of stems. Made purchase very easy. And even though I didn't need 5 casters at this time, since both stems included, will have back-ups when needed for all office chairs.

The wheels that came with my chair were intended for carpet use.
I have hardwood so I ordered these replacements.
They came in quickly they were easy to install and my chair does move much easier and smoother with the new wheels.
